Should You Add CoQ10 to Your Depression Regimen?

You don’t usually think of coenzyme Q10 for depression. But now, maybe you should.

This novel study added either 200mg of CoQ10 or a placebo to standard treatment for depression in 69 people with moderate to severe depression.

After 8 weeks, depression scores were significantly reduced in the CoQ10 group but not in the placebo group.

This study suggests that adding CoQ10 to standard antidepressant treatment can significantly reduce depression and fatigue and improve quality of life in people suffering from depression.
